#ICANTKEEPQUIET is a project started by Los Angeles activist and musician MILCK.

I was brought on to develop and direct the branding identity for the project. The original plan was to use the lyric “One Woman Riot” from MILCK’s song “Quiet” as the project’s title, but we decided to go with “I Can’t Keep Quiet” because we believed it would provoke more people to share their stories.

The project officially debuted at the Washington D.C. Women's March on January 21st, 2017, when protesters erupted in guerilla style choir performances of MILCK's song "Quiet." Videos of the performances went viral on social media and generated upwards of 30 million views and the hashtag #ICANTKEEPQUIET became trending on Twitter.
